Non-invasive injections such as Deoxycholic Acid, or PCDC (known as Belkyra in Canada and Kybella in the United States), serve as a treatment for double chins, without having to go through surgery and liposuction. To treat a double chin, the solution is injected locally, which permanently dissolves fat and results in a chin fat reduction/neck slimming. Most clients require 3-5 treatments for best results.

What are Belkyra and Kybella and what is the difference between them? +
Belkyra and Kybella are the same chin fat removal injection but have different names in the U.S. and Canada. Belkyra is the Canadian brand name and Kybella is the U.S. brand name. Deoxycholic Acid is the generic name for both.
How does Deoxycholic Acid work?
Deoxycholic Acid works by targeting and destroying fat cells. The fat that once remained in the fat cells enters the bloodstream and is eventually eliminated. Without the fat cells, the chin resumes a thinner appearance.
What can I expect from my DA double chin treatment?
One of our experts will assess if you are a suitable candidate for this treatment. If you are, then we will take pre-treatment photos, map out the treatment site on your neck, under your chin and apply anesthetic cream for 30 min. Finally, we will use a thin needle to inject the treatment area with the Deoxycholic Acid. You will be given an ice pack to apply directly afterwards.
How long does this treatment take to work?
Each person is different, but most people will require 2 to 6 treatments for best results. These are done every 6 weeks. After the first treatment you will notice a difference, but the results will improve each time.
Is Belkyra Deoxycholic Acid dangerous?
